Soltane Hospitality Vocational Training

Equipping adults with intellectual differences with the skills and experience to join the hospitality industry.

Nurturing The Art of Making Others Feel Welcome

What makes someone feel welcome? The Soltane Hospitality Vocational Training centers around answering that question through the thoughtful craft of intentional hospitality that feels personal, human, and wholesome. This course blends both professional hospitality industry standards with an appreciation for beauty, mindfulness, and intention. Trainees will gain comprehensive instruction on taking responsibility for a space, refining attention to small details, and developing professional confidence in a guest-focused environment. Participants will be introduced to the art of story-telling for incoming guests by incorporating meaningful touches like freshly picked seasonal bouquets from our countryside campus as well as preparing a space through light, texture, function, and flow. Our course also emphasizes prioritizing natural, holistic housekeeping that hones a deeper knowledge of developing sustainable practices. Through hands-on training, students will utilize non-toxic plant based products when refreshing guests spaces and laundering fresh linens that honor both people and place. Students will also build customer service core competencies and essential job functions of the hospitality industry giving them the foundational tools for long-term vocational stability and meaningful contribution in the workplace.
