2024 HONORARY WINE CHAIR - Kathryn Sloan of small vines
Each year we invite a prominent California vintner to serve as Honorary Chair to host this event. The Honorary Chair’s wines are served throughout the evening. The Chair has the opportunity to take the stage & share their story during the Wine & Fine Dining event. We fly the Chair in prior to the event to enjoy a tour of our campus & enterprises, meet members of our leadership team, & get to know some of the individuals we serve. Each year during the Wine & Fine Dining Experience, we feature a guest speaker with intellectual differences who is part of the Camphill Soltane community. They take the stage and share what Soltane means to them in a personal and profound way. Many attendees share that this is a highlight of their evening as they witness first-hand the transformative power of the Camphill Soltane experience. In 2023, long time Soltane community member Joe Joe Wilson took the stage, proudly presenting a beautiful video about his life, work, and passions. Shop Joe Joe’s designs today at Creative Souls!
