Camphill Challenge

Come out and show your support of all three Camphill communities in southeastern PA on October 16, 2011 for the third annual Camphill Challenge! This bike ride benefits children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities. This is a family-friendly event - bring the kids, and make a day of it!

Route features:

  • Fifty (50) and twenty-five (25) mile route suitable for various ability levels
  • Family Fun Ride route suitable for children and beginner riders (anyone under eighteen must be accompanied by an adult; registration for children under ten (10) is free)
  • Picturesque views of rolling Chester County hillsides, horse farms, and historic homes
  • Marked course, crossing guards at major intersections
  • Pedal through Camphill Special School's Children's Village at Beaver Run and Transition Program at Beaver Hill and Beaver Farm; Camphill Soltane and Camphill Kimberton.
  • Ride begins and ends at Kimberton Waldorf School in Kimberton.

 

Fun for All!

Riders receive a special Camphill Challenge t-shirt with paid registration before September 30. Rider amenities include rest stations with beverages and snacks throughout each route. Celebrate the end of the ride with a complimentary picnic lunch, with live musical entertainment, on the lovely grounds of the Kimberton Waldorf School.
